Edgewood UCC holds worship on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. Our services are a blend of traditional worship, hymn sings, concerts, service opportunities and our unique Manna services, which combine scripture and song with a potluck meal for our church family and community.
Traditional worship is led by the Reverend Nancy Hamlin Soukup and organist Brenda Farrell Muoio, while deacons and lay leaders take active roles in our non-traditional services. At Edgewood, our small congregation provides everyone the opportunity to step up and serve. Even our children and youth take an active part in worship, serving as ushers and acolytes, reading Scripture lessons, assisting with Communion and Palm Sunday processions, singing in the Chancel Choir and offering their personal talents as gifts to our community. We welcome the presence of little ones in our services and appreciate their contributions of joyful noise as a reminder of Jesus’ words: “Suffer the little children to come unto me.”
