Sunday, August 21st- Freedom from Bondage: Rev. Bill Sterrett will lead a conversation concerning the role of the church in both oppressing and liberating people. Please join us in the sanctuary at 10 a.m. Light refreshments in the narthex following the service.
Edgewood UCC holds worship on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. Our services are a blend of traditional worship, hymn sings, concerts, and service opportunities.
Traditional worship is led by the Reverend Bill Sterrett and organist Brenda Farrell Muoio, with deacons and lay leaders taking an active role. At Edgewood, our small congregation provides everyone the opportunity to step up and serve. Even our children and youth take an active part in worship, serving as ushers and acolytes, reading Scripture lessons, assisting with Communion and Palm Sunday processions, singing in the Chancel Choir, and offering their personal talents as gifts to our community.
We welcome all to our services – no matter what your previous church tradition or current life situation. “Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”
